This time of year can be challenging for our positive outlook! Maybe it is recovering from the busy holiday season, influenza or other illness. Could be that it’s harder to get outside and get our bodies moving! Whatever the reasons, here are some ideas to tip you into a happier frame of mind!
Use the power of your mind to choose where to put your focus. There are negatives and positives in life. That’s just how life is! Our minds have the freedom to choose where to put our focus. Whatever we focus on grows. Let’s put the energy in the positive aspects of our life and feel thankful and content.
De-clutter and then clean! When we pare down belongings that no longer bring us joy or have a use for, this clears our mind. Once your space looks more free… then it’s fun to clean! If we make this a habit, a few minutes a day tackling those pesky clutter areas (you know the ones) then a few more minutes to spruce our space, we have created an environment to unwind. Light a candle and read a few pages of an inspiring book.
Know that you are enough just as you are. It’s ok, and can even be good to challenge ourselves on our personal growth. It seems important to be strong enough to accept yourself just as you are. Treat yourself like you would a friend. Then tackle those dreams with the workhorse of goals and systems.
